GENERAL:
In addition to being the prettiest laptop case I've ever seen, I like that this tote doesn't look like a laptop case. I'm not worried about carrying this in public or on the subway because it looks like a briefcase, not a laptop tote.
CONSTRUCTION:
The construction is good EXCEPT for the handles. They're made of thin leatherette material and stitched twice horizontally, vs. the preferred "X" stitching. My 15.4" laptop weighs 6 lbs, and holding the bag by the handles pulls it down; I'm concerned they may tear. I would not recommend this computer bag for everyday use, unless you only carry it by the shoulder strap. I like that the holes in the metal zipper pulls are large enough to use a combination lock. The internal pocket allows you to carry the battery pack, cables, disks, pens and other small items. I removed the hook/loop tape on the external pocket it because it interferes with carrying magazines, newspapers, documents, etc. All briefcases/totes I've seen with external pockets have hook/loop closures, so this is not a design flaw in this particular case, but in my opinion in ALL cases.
FINAL THOUGHTS:
Attractive and doesn't look like a laptop case, but the thin handles makes this case impractical for everyday use. If you're considering buying this case I suggest getting it ONLY when it's on sale.
